Which airport do I need to fly into?
Your adventure will begin in Ecuador’s colonial capital city of Quito. We, therefore, recommend that you fly into Mariscal Sucre International Airport (UIO).
Which airport do I need to depart from?
Once you’ve hiked through the Andean highlands and rafted through the Amazon Basin, you’ll be jetting off home from the port city of Guayaquil. We recommend that you fly out of José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport (GYE).
By what time should my flight arrive?
Your welcome meeting will start at 5:30 pm at the first hotel, so we recommend getting into Quito’s Mariscal Sucre airport before 2 pm. If you would like to freshen up before the welcome meeting and first activities, it would be a good idea to leave additional time. At the welcome meeting, you’ll be able to raise a toast to your upcoming adventures with your fellow Flashpackers.
What time should my flight depart on the last day?
Your adventure will end on the island of Isabela, where you will take an early morning speedboat back to the mainland. From here, you’ll be transferred by land to Baltra's airport where you’ll take a domestic flight to José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport (GYE). All domestic transport is included with your trip, we strongly recommend that you don’t book an international flight leaving from GYE before 5pm.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Unfortunately, delays happen - that’s part of travelling. Our local team will be monitoring arrival flights but if your flight schedule changes, simply keep us updated by contacting the emergency number that you will be provided with in your app prior to your departure.
