What should I pack?
We recommend that you pack layers that you can put on and take off depending on the weather. Breathable clothes are best for hot weather, with warmer layers required during winter (Dec-Feb). You’ll need comfortable shoes for walking around New Orleans and you may also want some dressier outfits for the evenings. Please check the weather forecast before your trip and pack accordingly. You’ll receive more packing suggestions in your app before your trip.
What items do I need to purchase that are not part of an everyday wardrobe?
You won’t need any special equipment, but please bring a cap or sunhat, a comfortable pair of shoes and some more formal clothes to wear on the jazz cruise.
Before you travel, we’ll make sure that you have a full list of packing suggestions available on the Tineri app.
What’s the luggage allowance?
Your luggage weight allowance will be specific to your airline but it’s also worth making sure that you can comfortably carry your baggage.
Can I bring a suitcase or do I need a backpack?
It’s up to you whether you bring a suitcase or a backpack. We recommend bringing whichever you find more comfortable because you’ll need to be able to carry your baggage.
What plugs are used, do I need to bring a travel adaptor?
Generally, plugs in the USA are type A. They have two flat prongs and the standard voltage is 120 V with a frequency of 60 Hz. You will need to bring an adapter with you if you’re travelling from a country that doesn’t use this plug type.
