What time do the activities start on each day?
Most of them start early after breakfast, unless the days are a transfer day. The app that we send to you before your departure will have more information on start times.
How long is each activity?
This may vary according to the activity, however the app will give you a rough idea of how long each activity is and your guide is there to advise locally.
How far is the trek on day 2?
It is one of the most accessible volcanoes in Guatemala. It is 8,373 feet tall and the trek has an elevation gain of around 1,500 feet, you will last 2 hours approx. with 2.5miles of distance.
Will there be lava on the volcano?
Most of the time there is lava at the volcano, but it is a natural activity which we can not confirm 100% there will be lava at the time of your tour and it is very unlikely it will be flowing.
I don’t know how to swim, will there be life jackets during the kayaking?
Yes, all our boat and kayak tours include a life jacket, as part of the equipment.
Can I skip the kayaking and join in the painting on day 4?
Yes, this is possible, please mention to the tour leader beforehand.
Where do I get changed for the kayaking?
There is a small dressing room where you can change, but we recommend wearing your swim suit from the morning under your normal cloth and bring extra clothes in your backpack.
How far will we walk at Tikal?
We will walk approximately 3 to 4 hours at the temples have lunch and then climb the highest peak of the ruins to see the sunset.
Will a life jacket be provided for the tubing adventure?
Yes, it is mandatory to use a life jacket.
Where do I get changed into my bathing costume for the tubing?
There is a welcome centre where you can change into your bathing outfit.

Can I stay in the boat for the visit to shark ray alley?
Yes, you can decide to stay on the boat if you do not want to swim.
