This will depend on the itinerary for the day. The guide will decide the exact time based on their experience and the weather.
How long is each activity?
This may vary according to the activity, however the Vamoos app will give you a rough idea of how long each activity is and your guide is there to advise locally.
If I choose not to do the yoga class is there an alternative activity?
No, but the time will be yours to do as you please and there is a lot to see and do in Bali.
Will the cooking class cater to my allergies/diet?
The cooking class can cater for most allergies, please contact us before you travel so we can inform the pack leader.
Do I need hiking boots?
They are recommended for the Batur climb but are not essential – as long as you have closed shoes with a good grip you should still make it to the top.
What clothing is recommended for the treks?
A detailed packing list will be provided in your Vamoos app, however it is best to bring a rain jacket and thin layers as the weather can often change.
Do I need to wear insect repellent on the treks?
It is advisable.
What do I need to carry with me on the treks?
We recommend carrying some water, insect repellent, a hat and sunscreen (suntan lotion)
What is the difficulty level of each trek?
All the treks are relatively easy except for Mount Batur which is a moderate trek.
What is the gradient of each trek?
A certain points the trek up to Mount Batur is steep, however you do not need any specialist equipment.
How long does each trek take?
The estimated trekking time varies for each group but the longest trek to Mount Batur can take up to 3- 5 hours.

Is there anywhere to change after the swim at Banywana?
The waterfall is in a remote location so there are no changing facilities.
If I don’t go snorkelling, is there an alternative activity?
There are options available at additional cost such as a yoga lesson or a spa treatment, or you can take the time for yourself to do as you please.
