What hotel standards can I expect?
Generally, the hotels will charming, boutique hotels. Please bear in mind though, that at the eco-hotel that you will stay in, there is no hot running water and the food is very health focussed.
Is there wifi at the hotels?
Yes, most hotels will have Wi-Fi, it may only be in the lobby or communal spaces. In the more remote locations, you may find the Wi-Fi to be very slow.
Are there hairdryers?
Most hotels will have hairdryers upon request, but you might want to pack a small travel size hair dryer if it’s a necessity.
Will I be able to do laundry?
Yes you will be able to do laundry at an extra cost in most hotels. This is quite an action-packed adventure, so you need to be organised if you plan on doing laundry. The hotels where we stay for 2 nights or more are your best bet, but it’s always good to pack enough clean undies (just in case).
Will the hotels have toiletries?
Yes there will be some basic toiletries available, if there’s a special brand you prefer it’s best to pack it in advance.
Can I have an early check in on the first day since my flight lands early?
Depends on availability but the normal check in time is at 1500hrs. Please be aware that if you arrive an hour or two before check in that our hotels will always try their best to get you in a room straight away if available.
Can I continue using the hotel facilities after check out on the last day since my flight departs in the evening?
Normal check out time is at 12pm, but you will be free to use the public areas, and if there’s space you may even leave your luggage with reception and take in a last afternoon in Cartagena.
