What should I pack?
There will be a thorough packing list on your app that we will send to you in advance of your trip.
Generally speaking, we recommend you pack as lightly as possible and make sure that you are able to carry and lift your own luggage, and walk with it for short distances including up and down stairs and in busy train stations. Our travellers usually find the smaller their luggage is, the more they enjoy the trip not having to worry about carrying heavy bags!
What items do I need to purchase that are not part of an everyday wardrobe?
As long as you have a pair of sunglasses and some sun cream, there is nothing out of the ordinary that you’ll need, all the safety equipment you might need will be provided.
What's the luggage allowance?
One large bag and a day bag should be okay, but please check with your airline when booking flights. For the flights during our adventure, the baggage allowance is normally 20kg.
Can I bring a suitcase or do I need a backpack?
Small, wheeled suitcases that can also easily be picked up and carried are suitable, or if you prefer, a backpack is also a good option.
What plugs are used, do I need to bring a travel adaptor?
In Myanmar, there are two types of plug systems, the two-prong and three-pronged plug. It’s best to travel with a ‘universal’ plug adaptor on this trip.
What happens to my luggage in between excursions?
Where activities fall on days where there is no hotel change, your luggage should be left in your hotel room. On the day of a hotel change, the luggage is left securely in the minibus with the driver.
