How much should I budget per day for extras?
Around £15 - £40 a day should be plenty, but this is guidance only as you know your spending patterns better than we do and it depends on whether you will be buying lots of souvenirs.
Is it customary to tip?
It is not customary to tip; however, it is a great show of appreciation for the hard work of the crew. We recommend between £6 - 12 a day which you can give to your guide to distribute equally between the driver, porters and assistants, this would normally be given at the end of the adventure and is completely up to you and whether you feel they have earnt it.
