What's the weather like?
The weather in Vietnam can vary substantially as you travel down the country, with northern, central and southern Vietnam often displaying very different weather conditions simultaneously.
Cambodia’s climate is dominated by monsoons, and the temperature ranges from 21 to 40 °C depending on the time of year.
Wet season is from May to October.
It brings some three-quarters of annual rainfall. The peak of wet season runs from July to September but it still seems unlike to spoil your holiday as the rainy day tends to last for a few hours and heavy rain very often occurs during night. The temperature may drop to 22°C and the evening can be slightly cooler still.
Dry season lasts from November to April.
December and January arguably offer the best climate with it remaining quite cool throughout both countries. Between February and April, the temperature rises steadily and can reach 32-40 °C. April is typically hottest month of the year.
