What time do the activities start on each day?
This will depend on the itinerary for the day. The guide will decide the exact time based on their experience and the weather.
How long is each activity?
This may vary according to the activity, however, the Tineri app will give you a rough idea of how long each activity is and your guide is there to advise locally.
Will the cooking class cater to my allergies/diet?
The focus of the cookery class will be on traditional Cuban cuisine and although almost always includes either fish, pork or chicken, there are many side dishes which are completely vegetarian/vegan. Please let us know about your allergies/dietary requirements when you book so that we have time to ensure that we can cater to your requirements.
I don't know how to ride a bike, will there be an alternative activity?
You can either stay with the group and ride in the support vehicle ( that way you don’t miss out on any of the sites) or you can arrange with the guide to meet the group at the end of their bike ride and explore the city on your own.
I don’t drink alcohol, will there be an alternative at the rum tasting?
You can still enjoy the history and culture of rum at the tasting without drinking.
There are no alcohol-free rums but soft drinks will be available at the tasting.
I’ve just passed my driving test, will I be able to drive the vintage cars in Havana?
I have yet to come across a vintage car owner who is prepared to allow someone else to drive their “baby”. These cars are literally living, moving museums and, as such, are priceless and they are becoming a rare luxury.
