What should I pack?
There will be a thorough packing list on your Tineri app that we will send in advance of your trip. However, lightweight cotton clothes that are breathable will be perfect, along with hiking boots, sun cream, and a good sun hat.
What clothes do I need for temples?
When visiting most temples in Thailand and Laos, you'll need to wear modest clothing that covers your shoulders and knees. A sarong is a popular choice, you can buy one to wrap around your waist once in south-east Asia.
What items do I need to purchase that are not part of an everyday wardrobe?
What's the luggage allowance?
One large bag weighing no more than 20kg, and a day bag should be okay for the trip. Make sure to check weight allowance with your airline when booking flights.
Can I bring a suitcase or do I need a backpack?
Suitcases, as well as backpacks, are accepted on the minibus, please try and limit yourself to one large bag if possible though.
What plugs are used, do I need to bring a travel adaptor?
There are three types of plug systems in Thailand and Laos:
- Type A : two flat parallel pins
- Type B : two flat parallel pins and a grounding pin
- Type C : two round pins.
Thailand operates on 220 Volts at 50 Hertz
What happens to my luggage in between excursions?
Where activities fall on days where there is no hotel change, your luggage should be left in your hotel room. On the day of a hotel change, the luggage is left securely in the minibus with the driver.
