How is this country's ability to cater for vegans/vegetarians/celiacs?
Absolutely, there are some great veggie tagines to enjoy which our bilingual guide will help you order. Vegan options are a little more limited, but with advanced knowledge our guide can help in arranging options in restaurants. Please do let us know before you travel if you have any dietary requirements so we can inform our team and guide.
I have allergies, will these be catered for?
Yes, however please make sure our happiness team is aware of your allergies before you arrive so that we can inform the right people on the adventure. Some medications may not be available in Malaysia, so make sure to pack any medications you may need.
Is it safe to drink the tap water?
It’s not advisable to drink the tap water in Morocco, it’s best to drink bottled, purified water. In an effort to reduce single use plastic - boiled and filtered water is available at the hotels and we encourage bringing and using a refillable flask.
I don't drink alcohol, will this trip be full of drinking? What options will I have instead?
Not at all, Morocco is a muslim country and so any consumption of alcohol is done in designated bars and hotels, so definitely not a boozy trip. There will be plenty of non-alcoholic drink options and some great mocktails to try.
Will the meal with the Berber family cater to my diets/allergies?
Yes, although traditional Moroccan meals do consist of some meat dishes, there are alternatives, we can definitely cater for any dietary requirements for the cooking class with advanced knowledge, just let the happiness team know when you book.
