This will depend on the itinerary for the day but usually after a delicious breakfast. A full list of timings will be available in an app we will give you before you depart on your trip.

I don't drink alcohol, is this trip for me?
Yes absolutely, whilst there are plenty of local beers and wines to sample, Croatia has way more to offer, like lush hikes, waterfalls and national parks. In fact you’d struggle to take in all this beauty hungover.
What is there to do during the free time in Split?
There’s so much to see and do in Split, your local guide will be more than happy to point you to the magical spots. Here’s a little taste of what you could get up to;

What is the optional Dubrovnik extension?
The Dubrovnik extension is 2 nights in an exclusive five-star boutique hotel situated in the heart of Dubrovnik. Transportation from Split to Dubrovnik is included and it is an excellent chance to delay your return to reality! Discover another side of this unique city, maybe go on the Game of Thrones tour, or rent a jet ski and go to a remote beautiful beach.
What shoes should I wear for the trek?
You should wear comfortable, closed shoes for the hike. Most Flashpackers find that trainers do the job!
What clothing is recommended for the trek?
A detailed packing list will be proved in your app we will give you prior to your departure, however it is best to bring a rain jacket and thin layers.
Do I need to wear insect repellent on the trek?
Near the lakes and waterfalls there will be some pesky mosquitoes. Although they’re malaria free, it’s no fun being bitten so take any precautionary steps you can to prevent being their meal.
What do I need to carry with me on the trek?
It’s a good idea to have with you a hat, sun cream, water, a thin rain layer and maybe a snack too.
What is the difficulty level of the trek?
The trek will be an easy, short and pleasant amble so a moderate level of fitness is required.
How long does the trek take?
The estimated trekking time varies for each group, but generally it should be around 2-3hrs with a stop for refreshments.
Do I need to bring anything for the kayaking?
Your app that we will give you prior to departure will have a more detailed list of things to pack, but don’t forget
- shorts or bathing suit,
- T-shirt and wet shoes,
- towel,
- sun cream,
- water (optional)
Life jackets, helmets and any other safety equipment will be provided for you.
