Do I need to get any vaccinations before travelling?
Vaccinations are not compulsory for entering Canada, but some routine vaccinations are recommended by the W.H.O. We suggest visiting your doctor or a travel clinic before travelling.
Which vaccinations do I need?
We can’t give out medical advice, but the W.H.O do have some recommended vaccinations for people travelling to Canada. They are standard vaccinations such as hepatitis A, hepatitis B, rabies, meningitis, polio, measles, mumps and rubella (MMR), Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis), chickenpox, shingles, pneumonia and influenza.
Am I travelling to a Malarial area?
There is no risk of malaria in Canada.
