What time do the activities start on each day?
This will depend on the itinerary for the day, but generally after breakfast. Your guide will decide the exact time based on their experience.
How long is each activity?
This may vary according to the activity, however the app that we send to you before the trip will give you a rough idea of how long each activity is and your guide is there to advise locally.
What shoes should I wear for the trek?
You’ll need good sturdy, hiking boots that are comfortable and not new. You don’t want to be breaking in new shoes on this intense hike.
What clothing is recommended for the trek?
There will be a thorough packing list on your app that we will send in advance of your trip. However, lightweight cotton clothes that are breathable will do just the trick.
As you ascend the temperature will drop, so make sure to bring a lightweight insulated waterproof jacket.
What is the difficulty level of the trek?
This is quite an intensive hike, not ideal for a first timer. To climb up Toubkal you should have some basic hiking experience and should have a moderate to high level of fitness. On day 3 of the adventure, we will likely be walking for around 8- 10 hours.
Do I need to bring crampons?
In the winter when the mountain is snowy, you will be supplied with crampons. However, most of our trips are during the summer months from May - October.

The length of the trek will vary on the ability of the group and their pace, but generally it should take around:
Day 2: 5 hour ascent
day 3: 4 hour ascent ~ 7 hour descent
Do I need to take a sleeping bag?
No, you will be provided with one locally for your night in the mountain lodge which is multi-share accommodation.
