Are flights included?
We don't include international flights but all domestic transport is included. Flashpackers come from all over the world so everyone books their own flights and we all meet on day 1 of the adventure. If you would like help finding the best flights, our dedicated team are only too happy to help.
Which airport do I need to fly into?
The adventure begins in Inverness, so make sure to book your flights to Inverness International Airport (INV).
Which airport do I need to depart from?
We end our whirlwind Scottish adventure in the Scottish capital, Edinburgh. If you're heading home after this, book tickets from Edinburgh International Airport (EDI).
By what time should my flight arrive?
This whistlestop adventure starts early in the day, so ideally you'll arrive by 12:30 in Inverness to be whisked away with your fellow Flashpackers into the highlands. (We are aware that there are lots of popular flights that land at around 12.40 pm, these will all be absolutely fine.)
If I'm getting a train, what time should my train arrive?
If you are getting a train to Inverness station, you will be picked up outside of the station at 12:00, so you will need to arrive before then.
What time should my flight depart on the last day?
Our last day starts in Pitlochry, with a 2-3hr drive to Edinburgh, so book flights from 16:00 or later to ensure plenty of time.
How do I find the best value flights?
There is no magic formula and no golden rule. Sometimes it is best to book far in advance, sometimes it is best to book during a sale. We recommend using the Skyscanner website to help compare all the best options for your particular adventure.
Can you help me book my flights?
We can certainly help but cannot book flights on your behalf. Please get in touch with our dedicated team for some assistance and suggestions.
Can you send me some flight suggestions?
We'd be happy to! Just let us know which adventure you are booked on to, where you would like to fly from and your dates and we will see what options we can find you.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
It is best to call our local team in Scotland as soon as you know that your flight/train is delayed, the number will be listed in the app sent to you before the trip.
They will help you arrange a transfer to happen at a later time so that there is someone to collect you when you arrive.
