What should I pack?
Generally, light and comfortable clothing will be ideal for this trip. We also recommend bringing something to cover your shoulders if you would like to visit one of the many historic churches.
A comfortable pair of shoes is a necessity for hiking on this trip. Unfortunately, anyone in flip-flops won’t be able to take part in the hike. Save them for the beach.
What items do I need to purchase that are not part of an everyday wardrobe?
Before you travel, we’ll make sure that you have a full packing list. This will be available on the Tineri app which you will have access to before your trip!
Will the provided equipment fit me?
Yes, you will be provided with a helmet and a torch when you and your fellow Flashpackers venture into a jaw-dropping underground cave. Most helmet sizes will be available, but if you have any specific requests, please get in touch with our team. You will also be provided with equipment for body-rafting, so please let us know your size as soon as possible.
What's the luggage allowance?
Your luggage weight allowance will be specific to your airline but around 20-22kg is standard. Your luggage will need to be able to fit on the bus with you, so one large bag and one smaller day bag would be ideal.
Can I bring a suitcase or do I need a backpack?
It’s up to you whether you bring a suitcase or backpack. We recommend bringing whichever you find more comfortable because you’ll need to be able to carry your baggage.
What plugs are used, do I need to bring a travel adaptor?
Wall outlets in Italy normally accommodate standard European plugs with two or three pins, known as types C and L. The electricity runs with 230V and with a frequency of 50Hz.
You will need to bring an adapter with you if you’re travelling from a country that doesn’t use these plug types.
