Do I need to get any vaccinations before travelling?
It is unlikely that you will need to get any medication or vaccinations before travelling to Italy, however, please consult your doctor before your trip.
Which vaccinations do I need?
We can’t give out medical advice, but the W.H.O do have some recommended vaccinations for people travelling to Italy. They are hepatitis A, hepatitis B, rabies, meningitis, polio, measles, mumps and rubella (MMR), Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis), chickenpox, shingles, pneumonia and influenza.
Am I travelling to a Malarial area?
No. There is no risk of malaria in Italy.
