Do I need to get any vaccinations before travelling?
We can’t give out medical advice, but the W.H.O do have some recommended vaccinations for people travelling to Chile. They are hepatitis A, hepatitis B, typhoid, rabies, meningitis, polio, measles, mumps and rubella (MMR), Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis), chickenpox, shingles, pneumonia and influenza. Please consult your local travel clinic for more information.
Which vaccinations do I need?
Vaccinations are not compulsory for entering Chile, but they are recommended by the W.H.O. It’s a great idea to visit your doctor or a travel clinic before travelling.
Am I travelling to a Malarial area?
There is no risk of malaria in Chile.
