What should I pack?
As well as trekking shoes, it’s a worth making sure that you have enough layers to keep you warm as it can get pretty cold up in the mountains. You will be provided with a packing list on the Tineri app before your adventure begins.
Will the provided equipment fit me?
We ensure that all our Flashpackers are provided with the highest quality equipment. Most equipment sizes will be available, but if you have any specific requests, please get in touch.
What's the luggage allowance?
For internal flights, the luggage allowance will be one large checked-in bag weighing up to 23kg and one piece of hand luggage weighing up to 5kgs. If your bags weigh more than this, you may have to pay a fee to the airline.
Can I bring a suitcase or do I need a backpack?
Both suitcases and backpacks are accepted on this trip, so bring whichever you feel more comfortable with.
What plugs are used, do I need to bring a travel adaptor?
Typically the electrical plugs used in Chile have two or three holes and accept standard European plugs. You will need to bring an adapter with you if you’re travelling from a country that doesn’t use this plug type.
Chile runs on 220V, 50Hz electricity.
