Do I need to get any vaccinations before travelling?
Vaccinations are not compulsory for entering Belize, but they are recommended by the WHO. It’s a great idea to visit your doctor or a travel clinic before travelling.
Which vaccinations do I need?
We can’t give out medical advice, but the W.H.O do have some recommended vaccinations for people travelling to Belize. They are Hepatitis A, B, Typhoid, Yellow fever, meningitis, polio, measles, MMR, TDAP, shingles, chicken pox, pneumonia and influenza.
Am I travelling to a Malarial area?
Belize is a low-risk malarial area. Malaria has been present in some, mainly rural, areas. We strongly advise using mosquito repellant at all times. Please get in touch with one of our Trip Experts if you would like more information.
