It may sound complex, but it couldn’t be simpler. If we understand that we have an impact on the places we visit and try to make that impact a positive one - we will travel responsibly.
Responsible travel can come in many forms. It can mean showing cultural and social awareness by respecting local traditions and eating local food, which can positively affect the local community. Equally, it could mean reducing our plastic usage and positively affecting the environments we visit. Flashpackers are thoughtful and friendly people, so responsible travel often comes very naturally on our trips.
We’ve compiled our responsible travel tips to help Flashpackers actively make travel choices that support and benefit the people and places they visit. Remember, small steps can lead to big changes and together we can make a hugely positive impact on our world.
