What's the weather like?
During summer, temperatures tend to be between 7 and 16 degrees, occasionally higher. May and September are likely to be colder, but Iceland is very unpredictable!
Is there a contingency plan if any of the activities aren’t possible due to weather?
Yes, of course. We always strive to complete the activities that you have signed up for, but sometimes Icelandic weather doesn’t want to cooperate!
Our contingency plan will always be individual to each tour and related to the specific weather conditions and issues that we face. Please contact our friendly Flash Pack trip Experts if you would like more information.
Will I see the Northern Lights?
Unfortunately, summertime is not the best season for seeing the Northern Lights. You’ll just have to make another trip to Iceland between September and April!
Luckily, Flash Pack also offer an incredible Icelandic winter tour, with a chance of seeing the Northern Lights!
