What items do I need to purchase that are not part of an everyday wardrobe?
Before you travel, we’ll make sure that you have a full packing list. This will be available on the Tineri app which you will have access to before your trip.
Generally, you’ll need light and breathable clothing. For temples, you’ll need to make sure that your shoulders and knees are covered.
What should I pack?
Sun protection such as sun-cream, a hat and sunglasses are very important. Insect repellant will also come in very handy.

What clothes do I need for temples?
When visiting most temples in Thailand, you'll need to wear modest clothing that covers your shoulders and knees. A sarong is a popular choice, you can buy one to wrap around your waist once in Thailand.
Will the provided equipment fit me?
We ensure that all our Flashpackers are provided with the highest quality equipment. Most equipment sizes will be available, but if you have any specific requests, please get in touch.
What's the luggage allowance?
Your airline carrier will have their own luggage allowance, however, we recommend only bringing one large bag that you are comfortable carrying.
Can I bring a suitcase or do I need a backpack?
Both suitcases and backpacks are accepted on this trip, so bring whichever you feel more comfortable with.
What plugs are used, do I need to bring a travel adaptor?
Thailand’s electrical plugs usually have two flat pins or two round pins. The electricity runs with 220V at 50hz. You will need to bring an adapter with you if you’re travelling from a country that doesn’t use these plug type.
