Do I need to get any vaccinations before travelling?
We aren’t able to offer medical advice, but the W.H.O do have some recommended vaccinations for anyone travelling to Zimbabwe and Botswana. You should visit your doctor or a travel clinic to seek their advice before travelling.
Which vaccinations do I need?
We aren’t able to give out medical advice, but it’s a good idea to check with your GP or a travel clinic to find out whether they recommend any vaccinations. The WHO do have some recommended vaccinations, many of which are routine. They include hepatitis A, hepatitis B, typhoid, cholera, yellow fever, rabies, meningitis, polio, measles, mumps and rubella (MMR), Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis), chickenpox, shingles, pneumonia and influenza.
Am I travelling to a Malarial area?
There is a risk of malaria in Zimbabwe and Botswana, so we recommend visiting your GP or a travel clinic to discuss vaccination options before your trip.
