What time do the activities start on each day?
This will vary day-to-day, however, the morning is often the best time to head out on game drives, so expect a few early morning starts.
A full itinerary will be made available before your adventure begins.
How long is each activity?
Generally, game drives will last between 2.5 and 4 hours, but this can depend on the conditions. Your game walk will last around 2 hours, whilst your boat cruise will last around 2 and a half hours.
Are all of the activities suitable for beginners?
Yes, all the activities are suitable for beginners. Your Pack Leader will be assisted by very knowledgable experts, so you’ll be in great hands throughout your trip.
Can I take part in water activities with a life vest if I can’t swim?
You will be provided with a life jacket during the pot and paddle activity, but we do not recommend taking part unless you feel confident in the water.
I don't know how to swim, is this trip for me?
Yes, this trip focusses on the wildlife and natural beauty of southern Africa, not swimming.
What is there to do during free time?
At Victoria Falls, there’s a wealth of things to do in your free time. The brave could turn their hand to white water rafting or bungee jumping. Your Pack Leader will be able to discuss the options with you and help you make any bookings.
Are there alternate options if I can’t do any of the activities?
Yes, your Pack Leader will be able to arrange alternative activities, but these may come at an additional cost. If you feel unable to take part in any of the activities, please let one of our Trip Experts know in advance.
I am a runner, can I run each morning?
You will be able to run at Victoria Falls, although please ask your Pack Leader’s advice about the best places and times to run. In the safari areas, we do not recommend running, because there are likely to be dangerous animals in the area.
