Do I need to get any vaccinations before travelling?
The W.H.O and C.D.C do have some recommended vaccinations for Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. We recommend visiting a travel clinic before your trip to discuss which vaccinations will be relevant for you.
Which vaccinations do I need?
We can’t give out medical advice, but the W.H.O do have some recommended vaccinations for people travelling to Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. They include hepatitis A, hepatitis B, typhoid, Japanese encephalitis, rabies, meningitis, polio, measles, mumps and rubella (MMR), Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis), chickenpox, shingles, pneumonia and influenza. Please visit a travel clinic to find out which vaccinations they recommend.
Am I travelling to a Malarial area?
Malaria is present in south-east Asia, so there is a risk, however, the risk is low. We recommend taking insect repellant with you and visiting a travel clinic for prevention advice.
