What should I pack?
Generally, you’ll need light and breathable clothes in Peru but we also recommend that you pack some warm clothes for the highlands of Cusco and a waterproof jacket just in case it rains. The key to packing for Peru is to bring layers because the weather can change very quickly. You’ll receive a more detailed packing list in the Tineri app before your trip.
What items do I need to purchase that are not part of an everyday wardrobe?
You’ll certainly need a comfortable pair of trekking shoes for Macchu Pichu. It’s also a great idea to bring a cap, gloves, some sunglasses and insect repellant.

What's the luggage allowance?
For the domestic flight, you’ll be able to bring one large bag weighing up to 23KG, along with hand luggage weighing up to 6KG.

Can I bring a suitcase or do I need a backpack?
It’s up to you whether you bring a suitcase or backpack. An additional small backpack is recommended for the Macchu Pichu hike.
What plugs are used, do I need to bring a travel adaptor?
Generally, plugs in Peru are the same as in most of Europe. They have two round prongs and the standard voltage is 220 V with a frequency of 60 Hz. You will need to bring an adapter with you if you’re travelling from a country that doesn’t use this plug type.
What happens to my luggage in between excursions?
Your luggage will be securely stored in your room during excursions. If your luggage needs to be transported during excursions, it with travel with you to your next destination.
